Dr. Jibi Jais

Dr. Jibi Jais is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and MSc Engineering Management at the University of Greater Manchester Academic Centre Ras Al Khaimah. He also serves as an Assessor for the Pearson BTEC Level 3 International Diploma and the Higher National Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Kookmin University, South Korea. His expertise includes laser material processing, additive manufacturing, and functional surface engineering, with research recognized among the top 1% globally. He brings international academic experience and is committed to delivering practical, industry-focused engineering education and advancing interdisciplinary research.
