Dr. Karpagam Ramasamy

Dr. Karpagam Ramasamy is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader – PG Computing at the University of Greater Manchester, Ras Al Khaimah, with over 20 years of experience spanning higher education, corporate training, Research and industry. She leads postgraduate computing programmes and teaches Data Science and Artificial Intelligence across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering research-informed and industry-focused education.

She holds a Ph.D. in Data Mining, a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science (IIIT Bangalore),a Certified Data Scientist (IIIT Bangalore), a Certified Algorithms Specialist (IIT Madras), a Harvard Business Publishing Education Educator, and has received advanced training in Machine Learning Applications in Industry from (IIM Bangalore).

Her expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, and Cloud Technologies, pursuing Cyber security. Her research interests include AI-driven analytics, IoT-enabled smart systems, predictive modelling, and explainable AI, alongside Industry focused professional training in emerging digital technologies.
